Job Title: Enterprise Risk Director, UK & EuropeBase Location: Hook with flexibility on location / home workingCompetitive salary plus leadership benefits and incentives Key PurposeLeadership of and accountability for strategic and effective development and continuous improvement of Serco UK&E's Enterprise Risk Management framework, culture, processes and capability and the custodian of Serco UK&E's risk, control, and assurance environment. Includes accountability for: effective risk management and implementation of risk policies and standards; dynamic risk focused compliance assurance; business continuity and crisis management; the UK&E's Divisional Insurance programme in conjunction with the Group Insurance team; and data governance and information security.Close links with other Divisional and Group functions, to ensure an integrated and efficient approach to the management of risk and to drive best practice and continuous improvement in risk & compliance across the Serco Group.This is both an internal and external facing role.What you need to do the role Relevant professional qualifications in the domains of risk management, compliance assurance or similar management discipline is desirable (e.g. Diploma/certifications/qualifications from IRM, ACII, ACCA, CIMA, ICSA etc).Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Airmic, ICA, IRM, IIA) preferred.Experience of working in ERM leadership role(s) including in a service environment.Leadership of a team of risk & assurance professionals and an ability to attract, retain, develop, and motivate talented people.Able to communicate with and influence colleagues at all levels; good networking and influencing skills. Persuasive, concise, clear verbal and written communicator.Ability to work with changing priorities and with multiple projects. Demonstratable ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Experience of developing an engaged and high performing team. You will have specific experience in risk in a multinational and/or similarly diverse service organisation and a wide and detailed understanding of risk matters You will have a diplomatic and collaborative manner with the strong technical knowledge and drive to successfully influence change through influence and persuasion.

Able to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.Experience leading, managing, and coordinating teams in a matrix environment and setting, directing, and successfully achieving objectives.
