Business Analyst (Leases)
Woolworths Group is currently seeking an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join the Lease Management & Accounting Team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract, with potential to go permanent. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst (Leases), the successful individual will join a close-knit team as it provides financial management support to the Group Lease portfolio.

Woolworths Group is currently seeking an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join the Lease Management & Accounting Team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract, with potential to go permanent. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst (Leases), the successful individual will join a close-knit team as it provides financial management support to the Group Lease portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate lease and financial data within PEPS (internal lease management system) and SAP
- Assist and oversee occupancy payments ensuring compliance with Woolworths interpretation of the lease
- Provide support in related Annual Operating Plans for both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- Within a team, manage lease accruals and mitigate financial risks for business units
- Contribute insights into occupancy cost and IFRS16 lease accounting standards with documentation and policy updates
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Finance or related degree with CA/CPA qualification preferred (or working towards)
- Some knowledge of (or ability to learn quickly) retail/landlord lease management environment and IFRS16 lease accounting standards
- Enthusiasm, good communication and true desire to learn
- Proactive attitude to identify opportunities for continuous system and process improvements
- Ability to navigate within a matrix-style environment whilst prioritising competing deadlines and stakeholders
