Time to play a pivotal role supporting the team in month-end closing, day-to-day accounting issues, tax filing, group consolidation & reporting, ensuring data accuracy for the group entities and the trust, at this multinational property / finance investment specialist.

Financial Manager
  • Rapid expansion due to acquisition growth path
  • Reporting to the head of finance
  • Forms part of a total team of 8 in finance of which 4 are based in the Melbourne office

Having recently migrated from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics, you will also have a passion for identification & implementation process improvement.

Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure efficient month-end closing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure the month-end report is accurate.
  • Assist the team in the quarterly forecasting process.
  • Assist the team in statutory audit process.
  • Communicate effectively with other department managers to promote efficient and correct work-flow.
  • Establish positive working relationships across the departments.
  • Work with the team closely to streamline processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

About you:
  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Minimum 6 years of accounting experience including Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivables, month-end closing and month-end report, statutory audit and tax filing.
  • Strong knowledge of PC skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience in accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics advantageous
