Accountant-General's Department (AGD) is the lead government agency which provides financial and accounting services to our Singapore Public Service. Our wide-ranging roles include:

The jobholder is responsible for driving the successful implementation of the Unified Audit Management System (UAMS) to increase the productivity of Public Sector Internal Audit Units and facilitate their conformance to global professional practices. This is a multi-agency project to centralise, standardise and transform the way in which Public Sector Internal Audit Units operate.

The jobholder will work closely with the AGD Project Team Leaders and relevant agencies in executing the project from the business process design stage, to facilitating agencies engagements and trainings, to go-live and post go-live stabilisation.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Partnering agencies through regular consultations to understand their existing processes, organisational structure as well as data security needs;
  • Reconciling differences among various agencies through active negotiation and rationalisation;
  • Translating business requirements into system specifications;
  • Overseeing the tender process including drafting of specifications and vendor evaluation;
  • Participating and monitoring the implementation process with the vendor;
  • Engaging in technical problem solving; and
  • Providing post go-live support and stabilisation.


Key Requirements
  • Background in Accounting/Business/Finance/Information Technology;
  • At least one year work experience in Accounting/Finance/Information Technology/systems related areas;
  • Prior experience in project management/operation for system integration is preferred;
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, internal controls and adoption of data analytics;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise key deliverables;
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
  • Resourceful, meticulous and a team player;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
