Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Offshore & Remote, we're looking for an exceptional Business Analyst to work in this highly visible and business facing position. This role requires someone who can engage with stakeholders at all levels to support our ESS business.

Some projects have started, and others will be in concept stage, so the Business Analyst will need the ability to flex between business strategy and driving execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying data sources and the collection of data
  • Sourcing missing data
  • Organising data in to usable formats
  • Analysing data to find answers to specific questions
  • Setting up data infrastructure
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining databases
  • Assessing quality of data and removing or cleaning data
  • Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns
  • Preparing reports and presentations for executive, project teams and client meetings
  • Creating visualisations of data
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks
The Person:

This role has a clear career progression pathway in to an Operational Management role and as such those with a passion for growth are encouraged to apply. Alongside this drive, you will also have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience working with and influencing senior decision makers
  • Experience handling and analysing complex, high volume data with excellent attention to detail
  • Presentation skills - ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex idea in a way that is easy to understand
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of MS Office products, with advance Excel skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to support site based personnel on remote mine sites during regular site visits
  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills
