? To review and set annual standard costs, ensuring compliance with the Standard Rules & Guidelines on standard costing,
? To introduce costing of new items during the year, and on the timely basis.
? To provide the performance on a detailed monthly variance analysis, supported by value-added and actions driven commentary.
? To review and ensure reconciliation and proper valuation of the raw materials, WIP, semi-finished and finished goods inventories.
? To monitor the monthly inventories trend evolution, and support the local Supply Chain management team in identifying issues and executing the actions plans identified / agreed so as to optimize or reduce the inventories.
? To be involved in all Capex requests related to the manufacturing / storage sites, including budget control and financial analysis for major purchases or projects.
? To ensure timely completion of all period-end closing activities related to costing and plant/warehouse activities, which would include to review the Supply chain expenses, and ensure that all major expenditures have been booked or provided for.
? To assist in internal and external audits.
? To coordinate with the local SC management and Finance Manager the cycle count/ annual inventory count, and review the results.
? To lead and guide ERP implementations for any Supply Chain Finance related matter and modules.
? To drive and challenge the latest estimate and annual budget process with the SC management team, as far as the supply chain expenses are concerned, capex, working capital, following of any savings plans for those items, and other local initiatives, as well as to ensure the costing is done properly and according to the budgeted assumptions.
? To identify cost reductions / productivity improvements / product costing accuracy improvement opportunities, and drive for their implementation with the support of the SC management team or Regional/Global Supply Chain Controlling.
