Chief Accountant

ONLY apply if you have experience in SAP Financial system. ACCA certificate is preferable.
- Responsible for providing support in managing a full spectrum of financial and cost accounting
transactions (i.e. Accounts Payable and Receivable, financial closing and consolidations, reconciliations, maintaining chart of accounts, controlling fixed assets, etc.) and ensuring compliance to the set corporate guidelines and policies.
- Contributes toward the development and implementation of accounting and control policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, processes and standards pertaining to finance and accounts processing
- Performs financial reporting for accounts payable and inventory accounts to communicate financial position and results;
Supervises valuations and production of inventory performance reports to control assets and adjusts for depreciation
- Supervises, examines and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance to reporting and procedural standards;
- Supervises, updates and maintains the general ledger and chart of accounts to reflect the transaction activities of the assigned scope;
- Supervises and reconciles sub-ledger reports on a periodic basis in addition to creating the final trial balance, as required
- Handles cash,flow and ensures that all transactions are recorded appropriately as per guidelines and available system
- Supports internal and external auditors in ensuring that audits are completed timely by the year-end through collaborating sufficiently and providing the necessary data.
- Prepares periodic financial reports (i.e. balance sheets, profit and loss statements, management and accounts -related reports), as required.
- Ensures and supports accounting staff in maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with the filing policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
