This
position is responsible for compiling and analyzing data for Management or for
peer review and external audit. This position will be required to interface and
co-ordinate with peers, external tax consultants, local and foreign tax authorities,
local assessors, internal divisions as appropriate.

Providing taxation compliance, advice and support for nominated entities in the
Australian group and Boeing entities in Asia/Pacific or other countries as
required from time to time.

Accountabilities:

Compliance:

  • Preparation of Australian corporate
    tax returns (income tax and FBT) for Boeing Australian Group to a standard
    fit for first level review.
  • Preparation of quarterly tax
    provision calculations for the nominated entities as required.
  • Assistance with the preparation of
    the consolidated income tax return for the Boeing consolidated income tax group
    in Australia (as required).
  • Assisting Global Mobility and
    International Finance functions in the administration and compliance of
    expatriate and inpatriate Boeing employees in host and home countries.

Research
and Advice
  • Research and draft technical advice
    to be provided to the Finance teams of the nominated entities in relation to
    FBT, income tax, GST, transfer pricing, expatriate and employment tax issues in
    Australia.
  • Attend and lead as required tax
    issue discussions with the Finance teams of the nominated entities (initially
    all Australian subsidiaries other than BDA, BAA, Insitu & BAH)

GST
  • Review of monthly GST returns for
    the Boeing Australia GST group;
  • Preparation of monthly GST returns
    for non-resident companies and nominated Australian entities;
  • Preparation of monthly Group
    (consolidated) GST return for the Boeing GST Group.

Asia
  • Preparation of corporate tax and
    GST/VAT/Consumption Tax returns for the nominated entities
  • Other compliance assistance as
    required from time to time
  • Research and draft technical advice
    to be provided to the Finance teams of the nominated entities in relation to
    income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, expatriate and employment tax issues

Other
  • Co-ordination
    of training sessions for the Tax Team within Australia
  • Provide
    assistance with reviews and audits by ATO, IR&D board and other
    regulatory bodies.
  • Assistance
    with other group tax issues and advice.

    degree qualification.

    experience working in Tax
  • Advanced
    Excel skills

Desirable
Criteria

  • Professional
    certification (CA or CPA) or Masters of Taxation
  • Prior
    Corporate Tax industry experience
  • Prior Tax
    Advisory Experience in an accounting firm
