If you're interested to be part of this journey and want to bring this expertise to the next level or share it with other thru digitalization, as RnA Business Analyst you will support alignment of Business Function RnA and RnA Core objectives, identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging Reporting & Analytics, support creation of business capability and projects, translate business capabilities into functional requirements, and work with business stakeholders and data Delivery teams to develop, test, and deploy solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Have strong knowledge on the key KPI/metrics and existing data flow/BI architecture for your function or business
  • Knowledge of current HP systems used by your functions and involved/aware about any transformation programs impacting them.
  • Be motivated/familiar with the BI products (Power BI, Tableau, ...)
  • Have an E2E vision - raw data should be consumed into a final added-value dashboard. You ensure consistency between data source and data consumption.
  • As a BI expert, you can equally talk to IT and to business with an even level of confidence.
  • Know how to work under pressure with tight deliverables, motivating your peers to get to expected result on time.
  • Document processes to get to a pan organization consensus.
  • Coordinate the collection of the function stakeholders' requirements for new reports/dashboards/projects or process improvements expectations
  • Play a project manager role for BI project tightly connected to your functions
  • Liaison back to the function to share news/practices
  • Analyze, define, and document requirements for data models, workflows, logical processes, system interfaces, internal as well as external checks and controls, and analytics projects
  • Support utilization of RnA internal governance processes


Education and Experience Required:

Typically, a Bachelor's or Master' degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Expertise in data flow and function BI landscape
  • More than 10 years of experience..
  • Determination using structured techniques for documentation, analysis, evaluation/ validation.
  • Decomposition of high-level information into details; abstracting low-level information; distinguishing requests vs needs; distinguishing requirements vs. solutions.
  • Business process modeling of current state and desired future state processes; defining and managing scope of projects, stakeholder expectations, requirements change management and traceability.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks; applying creativity/ innovation to solving complex problems; building relationships and working collaboratively; developing and communicating a vision for project/ system; providing thought leadership; mentoring; effective verbal/ written communication; preparing and delivering effective presentations.


About the team:

The Reporting & Analytics (RnA) Program is focused on empowering users to make timely, data-driven decisions to grow the business and drive operations. It established the RnA Center and the Governance Council, which are driving integration & enforcement of the BI strategy across HP to continually optimize the BI asset portfolio & related process management. This will also enable cutting edge BI innovation at scale.

Our agile and highly skilled teams will provide users with certified, high-quality data, reports and dashboards with a self-serve user experience through a centralized demand intake model.
