Accounts Payable Senior
Your new company
Hays are working with a fast paced, ambitious business who are looking for an Accounts Payable
Senior to join their team. This would be on an ongoing interim basis to review current processes and put in place improved and streamlined systems to ensure a smoother running of the AP function.
Your new role
Initially taking a full overview of the current Accounts Payable function to highlight areas for improvement and then implementing those recommendations whilst also assisting with the day to day processes.

Your new role
Initially taking a full overview of the current Accounts Payable function to highlight areas for improvement and then implementing those recommendations whilst also assisting with the day to day processes.
- Management of day to day payments across the business
- Build strong relationships internally and externally to the business
- Ensure that supplier statements are reconciled on a monthly basis
- Make sure that the AP team are providing excellent customer service at all times
- Ensure excellent communication is maintained with internal stakeholders
- Ensure payments are made swiftly and accurately
- Ensure appropriate AP controls are in operations at all times
- Query resolution
- Implement and monitor KPIs
- Liaise with the Managing Director to prioritise payments and manage daily cash flows
- Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and in line with agreed schedules
- Manage available cash balances to ensure suppliers are paid appropriately
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have strong Accounts Payable management / supervisory experience and be available for a start at short notice.
