In the UK we operate oil storage Terminals in Westerleigh, Milford Haven, Theale and Belfast as well as a very successful Bitumen business. A full time employment opportunity has arisen based at our head office at our Westerleigh Terminal (near Bristol) for an individual seeking a challenging and rewarding career in Finance within the oil industry. The Non-Fuel Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for the management (ensuring invoices are processed, authorised and paid in a timely manner) of the businesses non-fuel payables. This role will be the first point of contact for the business and its suppliers in all matters relating to non-fuel vendor payables. This is a key role within the UK Finance Team, reporting directly to the UK Treasurer. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as in a team, within a dynamic and challenging environment and fast paced culture. You will have the ability to perform successfully under pressure and be a self-starter who takes a proactive approach and is comfortable with bringing their own ideas to the table. You must also feel comfortable and able to adapt in a constantly changing environment, display natural dynamism and be happy to be involved with a multitude of tasks. Key Responsibilities of the role include; • Posting of the non-fuel vendor invoices / credit notes • Management of the Corporate Budget Holder approval process • Monitoring of the company inboxes • Reconciliation of the non-fuel vendor accounts • Management of the Bank verification process • Monitoring and resolution of the overdue position • Responding to non-fuel vendor inquiries • Collaboration in the payables cash forecast • Cover for the Fuel Accounts Payable Accountant Puma UK offers a competitive benefits package including Pension Scheme, Private Medical Healthcare, an annual discretionary Bonus Scheme, and the salary will be within the range of £20,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience.
