Financial Accountant

Job Title: Management Accountant- Fully QualifiedSalary: £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience Location: WakefieldAre you a career driven Financial Accountant looking for your next challenge and a ready made and mapped out succession plan to Group Financial Controller?! We have a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking Financial Accountant to join a very in demand and aggressively growing organisation in Wakefield, who have ambitious plans, both through further geographical expansion and organic growth and ultimately taking market share. Because of this, they have a newly created opportunity for a technically trained Accountant looking to step up, and come in hitting the ground running to drive change and continuous improvement to support business growth and strategy! DutiesThis is a very broad, diverse role within a growing SME. Typical duties will include, but are by no means limited to:* Preparation and presentation of all financial reporting, both for Group and subsidiaries* Prepare all reports for Senior Management team and wider external stakeholder group.* Full production of statutory accounts (again for Group & Subsidiares), liaising with external auditors when needed.* Full business analysis to advise Senior Management on the company's financial performance, both for the UK and Globally, along with recommendations.* Work with the Group FC to manage and utilise UK cash flow, evolving policies etc where required.* Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, systems and processes to ensure the business are running as operationally efficient as possible, implementing changes and improvements when identified.* Business Partner and build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.* Corporate finance- assist and advice on equity, acquisitions, capital requirements etc.* Deputise for the Group FC when required and help mentor/oversee a small finance team.Your ProfileThe ideal candidate for this position will:* Be a qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA preferable)* Have a strong technical background with the desire to utilise your skills and drive change across a growing business.* Be passionate about adding value and driving continuous improvement * Be confident partnering and building relationships with all Stakeholders and Senior Management* International accounting experience desirable but not essential.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
