I am currently recruiting a new Assistant Accountant (Group Consolodation and Reporting) to work for a data analytics company based in South West London. This is a permanent position.

Client Details

We are currently recruiting a Assistant Accountant (Group Consolodation and Reporting) to work for a data analytics company based in South West London. Our client specialises in market research and competitive intelligence. They seek to enable their clients to make more informed decisions.

Our client is based in South West London, close to Victoria train station. This role will be based in the office with opportunity to work from home.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is studying either the ACCA/CIMA who is looking to progress their career. Our client is also happy to consider AAT studiers.

Description

Assistant Accountant (Group Consolodation and Reporting)

  • Assist with preparing Holding companies and Group accounts
  • Assist with performing timely monthly, quarterly, half yearly and year end Group consolidation, Inter-companies transactions and reconciliations, and consolidated adjustments entries
  • Assist with statutory audits and internal audits
  • Assist with HQ reporting of Group and all subsidiaries.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, FRS, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Assist review of financials and reports prepared by team members
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor and Management

Profile

The successful candidate must have:

  • 1-2 years group consolidation and financial reporting experience
  • Auditors background, working experience in top 25 audit firms is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with Sage 300 is a plus

The successful candidate must also be proactive, possess a willingness to learn and develop, be a strong team player with a positive attitude to work. In addition, you will be very organised, and have excellent attention to detail.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. They also offer a study support package and a competitive benefits package.
