This role provides an opportunity to join the Finance team that supports the Group's IT function. Responsibilities cover all major aspects of finance activity (financial accounting & control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, commercial finance support and supplier management), making it a great opportunity for an individual looking to develop the well-rounded skillset of a modern finance professional. The new IT Domain model, whereby we have adjusted our structure to organise IT across the Group around capabilities rather than locality, aims to centralise IT operations (and funding) and leverage common platforms in-order to drive the Digital arm of the TUI Group Strategy. This role is dedicated to the Customer & Colleague Engagement (CCE) Domain within TTGSL (the UK IT operating entity for TUI), a strategically important element of the Group's IT strategy focussed on the development and implementation of common technologies that cover, among other things, Aviation, Colleague Computing, Corporate Systems and Customer Programmes across TUI.

The IT Finance team is split between the UK and Hannover (InfoTec) and looks after all finance activities relating to IT, which has an annual Capex budget of c.€130m and an annual Opex budget of c.€300m. The UK team is based in Luton and works extensively with senior roles within IT as well as senior business stakeholders, providing a great opportunity for learning and exposure at all levels of the team.

ABOUT THE JOB

This role has responsibility for the end-to-end financial management and reporting of CCE Domain costs that sit within TTGSL. This will involve the management of the period close procedures, which includes both capital investment costs and management of the P&L for depreciation and the ongoing running costs of the domain. This role will be required to ensure that the costs are accurately captured and reported/analysed. As a result of the nature of the role having exposure to both project accounting and cost in a BAU environment it will be the responsibility of the Senior Finance Analyst to ensure that the accounting processes are efficient and provide strong controls.

Through the consolidation of Northern Region and UK based Group IT Costs you will provide a clear distinction between legacy and new platform costs, helping to identify and drive out cost savings.

You will help to ensure that key stakeholders across the CCE Domain understand the current view of financials, providing insight into the numbers in a manner understood by non-Finance colleagues. This will include working closely with the Finance Business Partner - CCE to present costs to key program stakeholders, such as the Customer and Colleague Computing Domain Leads, as well as input into and ownership of the consolidated monthly financial reporting for the CCE Domain within TTGSL.

You will be required to support with supplier management where necessary, ensuring that the relevant PO processes are in place and supplier spend is clearly understood, and reflected in our reporting, and correctly accounted for.

Helping to ensure the integrity of the local entity financials, you will have ownership of part of the balance sheet and be tasked to ensure this is reconciled and reviewed on a monthly basis, in-line with Group Accounting policy, ensuring that all balances held meet the required accounting standards.
