Reporting Line: Head, Finance Services

Responsibilities

• Manage GeneralLedger according to defined accounting principles
• Maintain Chartof Account and generate reports in accounting software
• Reconciling bankstatements, clients and vendors records
• Preparing,timely monthly financial statements
• Paying vendors,billing clients, and managing post-due accounts
• Ensure adequatebackup for all payments
• Maintain a good filing system that will aid ease retrieval of documents
• Suggesting waysto reduce cost, enhance revenue and improve profit
• Managing andensuring compliance with local, state, and Federal Government reportingrequirements and tax filings
• Improvingbusinesses efficiency where money is concerned
• Analyzingfinancial records to check for inconsistencies and errors
• Any other dutiesas assigned

Qualification,Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum ofHND/BSc in Accounting and preferably a Chartered Accountant
• Minimum of 3years experience in a similar position in any organization
• Experience inthe use of Accounting Software.
• Sound perceptionof the advertising industry will be added advantage
