I am currently recruiting a Financial Accountant to join a well established and growing client, based on the outskirts of Horsham. This role will initially be on a 2-3 month contract to support them through a transitional period.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for monitoring all financial data and preparing accurate financial statements.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for monitoring all financial data and preparing accurate financial statements.
Key duties will include:
- Ensure the provision of a high-quality financial accounting service, that supports the effective and efficient management of the organisation, working within statutory and regulatory guidelines
- Production of monthly management accounts for multiple entities
- Preparing and Posting journals, Accruals, Prepayments, Invoice posting queries, depreciation
- Month end adjustments
- Yearend adjustments and ledger close down
- Support the CFO in the planning, preparation and delivery of statutory reports, publications and audits (internal and external)
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience of developing, maintaining and running financial accountant systems and computerised accountant systems
- Successful track record of working with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective, open and produce working relationships
- Ability to identify, analyse and take action to effectively manage risks to meet strategic objectives
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas and information
- Ability to understand external and internal trends and changes and advise on appropriate strategic and operational responses
- Experience of regulation, gained by previous experience in a regulatory or regulated environment
