Group Reporting Accountant | Media | London |FTC
I have a fantastic opportunity working for Global Media/Entertainment business who are looking to recruit a newly qualified Group Reporting Accountant on an initial 7 month fixed term contract with a view to extend.
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits
Role & Responsibilities
• Assist in the detailed review of quarterly reporting packs for consistency and correct disclosure of information.
• Assist in the month end review and reconciliation of the group results.
• Assist in the management of the budget/forecast process - ensure packs submitted on a timely basis, run consolidations, and carry out checks on reporting submitted Key Requirements:
• Review of reconciliation submitted by overseas entities of statutory financial statements to consolidation reported results for each year.
• Responsible for ensuring all required system dimensions and access rights granted to any new reporting units across all applicable systems.
Key Requirements:
• Ideal candidate should be a Qualified Accountant with experience in a commercial environment
• Track record of effective collaboration across teams & a positive attitude to change
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment (tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders)
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong systems skills
• Excel skills
• Knowledge of IFRS
