about the role

Reporting to the Finance manager, you will be responsible for the end to end AR process and to lead the AR team. In this role, you will be responsible for the system upgrade and also act as the subject matter expert to lead the AR integrations within the AR and the Billing system. You will handle the entire OTC (Order to Cash) process (Invoicing, Collections and Receipting). You will deliver the monthly AR close process including reconciliation of AR related accounts and month end reports for review by the Finance Manager. You will handle and oversee the month end closing activities which includes the reviewing and posting of accruals and other relevant journals. In this role, you will work closely with the GL team to provide regular management reports such as revenue variance analysis, AR Ageing, student billing details (HC etc) and deferred revenue. You will ensure that AR outstanding balances are closely monitored and aged items are minimized. You will also manage the students withdrawal process, raise credit notes and refund when required.You will support the finance manager on any AR related matters. You will also be responsible for collections including non-payment notification process. You will also be in charge of parent inquiring email inbox and answer the queries in a timely manner.

skills and experiences required

You should ideally possess a degree in Accountancy, preferably working towards obtaining or have obtained a CPA. You have a good knowledge of Accounts Receivables (AR) processes and have also led an AR team. You are a self-starter and are able to collaborate well with management and department heads. You possess strong communication skills (verbal/ written) and have no issues communicating with stakeholders and customers.
