A large Manufacturing brand are awaiting their new Financial Accountant to join in a permanent full-time basis. This company is well known throughout New Zealand and praised for their long-standing emphasis on customer service and excellent product quality. Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will focus mainly on improving financial reporting results, processes and general ledger integrity whilst streamlining internal systems and controls. The Financial Accountant will be the go-to person for all Tax enquiries (GST and FBT), internal Audit governance, Compliance and delivering accurate monthly financial reporting data. Furthermore, you will manage balance sheet forecasting, present half yearly and annual reports and ensure that business performance is in-line with any standard or compliance changes.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully CA or CPA qualified professional with sound taxation knowledge and 3+ years' working experience within the commercial sector. You will have exposure to various complex ERP accounting systems with a high level of expertise on all MS functions including Excel. Also, you will have sufficient experience in financial reporting and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
