Clinical Coding Auditor
Are you an Accredited Clinical Coder Auditor?
An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Coding Auditor to join our Team. You will support the Audit Manager in the planning and delivery of a comprehensive internal audit programme for all three sites.
This is a highly specialist role which requires the post holder to have expert level knowledge of ICD10 and OPCS4 as well as good knowledge of clinical coding national standards
The post holder will be required to be an NHS Digital Approved Clinical Coding Auditor and have in-depth experienced of auditing a wide range of specialities in acute NHS Trust setting.
The post holder will liaise with Lead Clinicians and Divisional Managers to validate coded data and discuss implications of coding quality and divisional income.
You must have clear understanding of HRGs and National Tariff Payment System.
