Role: Assistant Management Accountant + Study support for CIMA/ACCA Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 Location: Leeds - LS12 + free parking

My client: My client is a UK leader in automotive solution. The business has gone from strength to strength and this role has arisen due to business expansion.
Responsibilities: Contributing as part of a team to maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function.
* Maintain accurate financial records through use of the Oracle and Pegasus databases and analysing balance sheet and general ledger accounts for both the trading and holding companies * Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack * Preparation, interrogation and development of Key Performance Indicators used to analyse business performance * Assisting in the preparation of various monthly and ad-hoc business performance reports * Preparation of the Group consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow * Calculation of accruals and prepayments * Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts * Compare actual performance versus budget and forecast * Reconciliation of large key customer accounts * Support the implementation of a new Finance ERP system * General support to the team and assisting with other monthly and ad hoc duties as required * Observing safe working practices at all time, carrying out duties due care and in line with Company policies and procedures * Other ad hoc duties as required by the Company * This job description will be varied at the discretion of the Company according to the needs of the business.
Experience: * The role is ideal for an individual looking for their first management accounting role * Minimum two years' experience working in a similar environment * Relevant degree or AAT/Active CIMA/ACCA studier * Methodical and process driven, proactive and energetic * High levels of attention to detail and accuracy * Good numeracy & literacy skills * Good IT skills, including an understanding of Microsoft packages * Passion for learning and a desire to succeed * Integrity, consistently adhering to high quality professional standards * Innovative and solutions focused * Performance driven, giving your best every time, all the time * Quality focused and aspiring towards excellence in all things * Agile and responsive to the needs of customers * Proud to be delivering extraordinary fleet solutions as part of a team
