Financial Accountant Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client seeks a part qualified accountant to join them as a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This job would suit an AAT qualified or CIMA or ACCA part qualified accountant, supporting the Group Finance Manager in providing high quality financial and management information and maintaining and improving internal procedures. Our client is an international business with a sizeable UK head office that has thrived during the last 12 months through its commanding position in its industry. The successful individual will be an ACCA or CIMA studier or AAT qualified looking to start further studies with previous month end accounting experience. Any knowledge of accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and experience with tax would be beneficial. Also, good analytical skills and strong knowledge of Excel will be important when communicating key information to stakeholders around the business. Job responsibilities: Assisting with monthly accounting preparation - month-end accruals, intercompany reconciliations, costs Balance sheet reconciliations, including preparation and review of monthly balance sheet recs Reporting on actuals against budgets and forecasts Controlling the month-end processing of journals Liaise with project sponsors to monitor project spend Analysis for UK and US corporation tax calculation Year-end schedules and provision of audit information This is a great role for an ambitious part qualified accountant seeing this as a chance to join a larger business as Financial Accountant and looking for a business that can offer future opportunities.
