Our team of over 300 IT professionals support thousands of end-users across more than 600 applications implemented to support our businesses.

The Opportunity:

Business Analyst Intern

Our team supporting the Midland Transport business, have some very exciting opportunities that will stretch your abilities, build your curiosity and grow your resume in a way that is unique in the Maritimes. We will be introducing new solutions to better enable e-Commerce connectivity, Customer shipping systems capability and Asset Tracking, among others. Focusing on the goal of adding value through information technology, you will learn how to ask the right questions, build professional relationships and drive solutions. You will be exposed to technical and business processes across various functional groups within the business.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university co-op program
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Desire to problem solve and work with others to map out processes to pinpoint improvements
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
  • Curiosity, drive for excellence and deep interest in technology to drive business value


What you will gain:
  • Experience in translating business problems and opportunities into technical solutions through working in a team environment acting as the liaison between the business and development
  • Exposure to various business areas and their respective responsibilities, processes, etc.
  • Job shadowing opportunities and establishment of mentor relationships
  • Successful application of business analyst tools, such as business process mapping, project charters, requirement gathering, etc.
  • Training and experience in multiple industry technologies, including but not limited to: Tableau, Sharepoint, Clarity, etc.
