The successful candidate will preferably have the following:

  • Being able to assess the impact of risks in IT systems that are relevant to the preparation and audit of financial and performance reporting;
  • Experience with managing small teams;
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate complex technical information simply and effectively to a non-technical audience;

  • Verbal and written ability to communicate at all levels, including with senior management;
  • Demonstrated negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively communicate risks and audit findings;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster good working relationships with stakeholders and the ability to deliver an effective and professional service to clients; and
  • An interest and ability to develop IT auditing and cyber security auditing skills, and an appreciation of the impact of IT on key business processes.
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CISA, CISSP, CA or CPA;
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies or experience in IT task management including planning, leading and delivering small technical IT audits/projects;
