We are a small accounting practice located in Cairns/Woree and have been operating for over 15 years. We seek an experienced and motivated accountant to provide tax and business advisory services to our expanding client base.
Our ideal applicant is seeking full time employment, but we will consider part-time employment.
Our practice is cloud based and we use Xero, XPM, CAS360 and FYI within the practice.
Qualifications & Experience
Remuneration is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- CPA/CA qualifications or currently obtaining them.
- An appetite to develop and learn new skills and an attention to detail in your work.
- Experience with all types of entities including Individuals, companies and trusts.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent computing skills and an eagerness to progress in the cloud.
- Experience with Intuit, MYOB, Reckon and Xero for client accounting.
- Confident dealing with clients face-to-face.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.
- Ongoing management of a portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of compliance work for Individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.
- Preparation of financial statements for small to medium business.
- Deliver client advisory services including tax planning.
- BAS/IAS preparation.
- QBCC Reporting.
- Taking responsibility for client assignments and cultivating client relationships.
