POSITION SUMMARY:

EXPERIENCE:
- 1 - 4 years of overall years in a corporate IT environment.
- Over 3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis or related technical field (application development, technical product owner, deployment/implementation and infrastructure).
- Experience in facilitating Requirement Workshops, Focus Groups sessions, User Task Analysis, Documentation Analysis and conducting Surveys.
- Experience in selecting and executing elicitation techniques such as Interviews or Exploratory Prototypes.
- Experience in mentoring team members on business analysis skills.
- Experience in pre-sales and business proposals is preferred.
- Have domain knowledge of one or more industries or sectors, with broad knowledge of current as well as emerging technologies.
- Experience in delivery frameworks especially Agile framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow the project strategy/plan to elicit and document requirements.
- Prepares necessary materials and attends meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to understand and gather business / functional requirements, assisting in client assessments.
- Manage and negotiate with difficult and opinionated stakeholders with regular supervision during elicitation sessions and during the development life cycle.
- Follow the procedures on how the requirements will be managed (i.e., base lining requirements, requirements, change control and requirements traceability).
- Develop understanding of analysis and overall Process Re-engineering including business process modelling, capability gap assessment, and definition of solution approach and scope.
- Development and deployment of formal business analysis methods and tools to govern and control programs at a Proficient level in accordance with firm standards.
- Work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders which includes solution architects, development, testing and deployment teams.
- Collaborates with the wider team to understand business requirements and translates these into technical requirements for the review of more senior members of the team.
- Assists with the production of technical specifications to guide system architectural design and development. Also supports with quality assurance tasks such as requirements traceability to ensure completeness of requirements.
- Assists in the review of test cases to ensure tests adequately meet the requirements and coordinates with infrastructure and operations teams to resolve system issues.
- Analyzes solutions and technologies from the perspective of meeting business requirements and reports on outcomes
- Assists in business case development and in the completion of pursuits for new project proposals, leveraging existing solutions and processes.
SUGGESTED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Certification of Competency in Business Analysis and Agile will be advantageous
EDUCATION:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
