Description

Financial modelling: Developing financial models to underpin large business cases, which look at the costs of implementing certain options from capital and revenue perspective. This includes building financial forecasts for key financial statements and modelling the impact of different investment decisions.Economic impact & option appraisal: Developing economic models to understand and quantify the economic impact of change and wider benefits such as social value, environmental impacts, efficiencies and economic development.Pricing & efficiency optimisation: Undertaking detailed analysis to help support optimal commercial and regulatory pricing and costing. This includes support regulatory pricing across energy, health, water and telecommunications.

Profile

Accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or equivalent)Experience established in a professional services, consultancy or public sector settingFinancial Modelling experience in a public sector setting or client baseExperience building models from scratch to underpin business cases and major scoping of workAble to be based in a London hub but prepared to travel nationally once guidance changes
