The Finance Business Partner BeLux has a key focus on supporting the operational business on a day to day basis while also providing strategic insight to the local board. The role also includes a big involvement into local financial statements, taxes, legal matters as well as internal and external audits.

Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily Finance Business Partnering with the local Managing Director and Board, building strong relationships with the operational business and become a "trusted advisor" to them
  • Close monitoring of country performance and strategic analysis of KPIs, financial indicators and external data including competition to spot key trends, insights and opportunities
  • Producing analysis and insights e.g., for board packs and other management information to aid the respective stakeholders in running their business
  • Oversee and input into the budgeting and forecasting process - liaising with the business to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions
  • Undertaking employment cost analysis and review of other areas of spend to maximise efficiency and profitability
  • Ownership and responsibility for the full P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flows of your business
  • Ensuring strong processes between the local country operations and the respective SSC / transactional finance teams
  • Oversight for any internal or external audit activity required
  • Closely work and coordinate with other support functions (Marketing, HR, IT) to ensure best possible outcome for Page
  • Other ad-hoc internal and external reporting as required by their businesses
  • Coordinate proper facility management in all countries including the search & move to new offices
  • Responsible for local activities such as perm and temp payroll teams, local finance systems

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience in audit (Big 4 company is a strong plus)
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar Finance related function (Controlling, FP&A)
  • First experiences in presentation/participation in board meetings
  • Experience in the recruitment industry is a strong plus
  • Master in Business Administration or similar
  • Fluent in Dutch and French
