Our client is looking for a new Head of Finance to head up the Internal and External Reporting department at the head office in Antwerp under the responsibility of the CFO. Our client is a well-known player in the market and invests as much as possible in its staff. Tasks: You inspire and coach your colleagues to develop themselves further and push their boundaries; You ensure timely, correct, transparent and transparent management reporting; You manage the annual budget and the correct allocation of resources to realise the strategy; With your team, you develop and provide (ad-hoc) impact analyses of possible changes (regulations, financial markets, M&A, ...); You analyse the commercial and financial figures and advise management You coordinate the contacts with the external auditors, NBB and shareholders about your own reporting and responsibilities. You build an internal network and create support for developing and implementing the right analyses and recommendations to improve performance. You transfer expertise to your colleagues and continue to build a strongly functioning team Requirements: You have at least 10 years of experience in a financial position at a financial institution or a big 4 accountancy firm; You have knowledge of IFRS and BGAAP accounting as well as legal reporting such as COREP, FINREP and Basel (Anacredit, ...); You have experience with people management with a focus on coaching and you are also a reliable team player; You have excellent analytical insight, you are strong with figures and can use them to advise; You are very fluent in MS Office programmes (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Knowledge of Tableau or a similar BI tool is a plus; You are Dutch speaking, a good knowledge of French and English is a plus.
