Accountant – Transaction Accounting

The Accountant will play an important role in transaction accounting team. Transaction accounting team supports brokerage business in legal documents review, revenue recognition, cash application and billing. 

You will be responsible for:

• Posts transactions in the accounting system
• Reviews transaction documents and recognizes/posts revenue 
• Issues invoices and distributes to brokers or clients according to the given instructions
• Performs administrative tasks(enters transaction details to the system, collects approvals, validates information from the operations)
• Validates and books journals in the accounting system
• Monitors mailbox and resolves queries raised by the stakeholders 
• Performs ad hoc tasks assigned by the leader

Requirements:

• University degree
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must (C1)
• Accounting background is preferred. Employees with Accounts Payable/Receivables experience are welcomed
• Peoplesoft knowledge would be an asset
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with Service Now would be an asset
