Temporary Management Accountant

This is a temporary management accountant role to cover a role based in Sheffield working for a well regarded education organisation. The role will be to cover for a period of c5 months and would ideally be starting ASAP.

Description

As temporary Management Accountant you will be working as part of a team who oversee the production of management accounts for all the areas of the organisation including, capital projects and subsidiaries

You will use your accountancy skills to deliver across a number of key areas including: the effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the day-to-day financial operations as well as being the first point of contact for financial queries and requests. You will support colleagues in the management accounts function in the production of forecasts and budgets.

You'll be working with large amounts of data working to deadlines and will need a strong attention to detail.

Profile

Candidates for this Temporary Management Accountant opportunity will ideally be fully qualified accountants ( ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA or equivalent) and will have strong management accounting skills along with the experience of working within complex organisations ideally within the public sector.

Strong systems (ideally SAP and TM1) and Excel skills are also important.

Job Offer

An equivalent hourly rate to a salary of circa £35,000 - £43,000
