As a Bookkeeper for DBS Corporate Accountant Ltd your main role is to keep clients finances accurate and on track ready for filing the accounts. You will work directly under the accountants to ensure that the tasks in the accounting department are completed in a timely and efficient manner
You will also need to have knowledge working with Xero, IRIS, Sage and Quickbooks etc.
Your daily duties will be:
- Chasing clients for documents
- Check and verify sales and purchase invoices
- Maintaining Records and putting in order for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies.
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
- Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts
- Trial Balances
You also need to ensure that you are organized with attention to detail, be able to problem solve, good communication skills and have confidence to liaise with clients.
At all times you must perform and assist with other duties that may not be listed above to assist with the business.
