To join a dynamic and successful accountancy practice, assisting in accounts preparation tasks across a broad spectrum of commercial & charity sector clients and giving support to directors.
Package:
- Salary – in the region of £35,000
- Referral bonuses
- Full time role however part-time can be considered

- Flexi-time with core hours of 10am to 3pm
Main duties & responsibilities This client facing role includes:
- Reviewing statutory accounts and management accounts
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of Year End Accounts/Tax for submission
- Planning and completion of online files
- Ensuring complete and accurate statutory disclosures
- Liaising/meeting with clients regarding queries
- Presenting accounts and correspondence for manager review
- Assisting with ad-hoc advisory work
- Mentoring/training junior team members

- Iris accounts production and corporation tax
- Xero/Sage etc
- Microsoft Office

Experience
- Minimum of 2 -3 years post qualified experience
- Letter and report writing skills
- Experience of accounts preparation (Limited companies, sole traders & partnerships) with understanding of range of technical aspects, disclosure requirements and how clients may need specific advice
- Broad knowledge of small business taxation including VAT Ability to recognise potential tax implications (savings or risks)
- Client facing experience with ability to understand client needs and communicate information that they may not immediately understand
- Experience of managing your own portfolio of clients preferred but not essential
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
- Iris accounts production - preferred
- Sage Line 50 & Xero - preferred
