Chief Financial Officer (Brisbane Based/WFH)

We are working exclusively with an emerging mining / technology business listed on the ASX. They have a number of overseas projects in the pipeline, state of the art market leading technology, and are about to enter into the next stage of growth, requiring additional financing and capital investment expertise. With several key projects nearing completion, combined with various key backers on board, this is a great time to join the company.

The CFO will provide the financial, administrative & risk management operations for the business. A key priority for the incoming CFO will be a leading role in raising further capital for continued development of the business, whilst ensuring adequate systems and processes are in place as the company continues to expand.

Further key accountability's will include

• Budgeting for capital intensive projects
• Directing the establishment of financial/accounting principles, procedures and practices in line with legal and corporate requirements.
• Ensuring that the performance of the Company is protected through the establishment of effective financial controls, implementing and maintaining appropriate management accounting and reporting systems & controls, budgetary controls and expenditure procedures.

The successful candidate will have previous experience ideally in a growing ASX, preferably in the mining / resources or technology industry. You will have prior feasibility experience (exploration to production), have capital intensive investment experience, and be able to work remotely as various projects are off shore. Significant experience in financial planning, modelling, reporting and control is required, as well as excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills.
