T&M COO's office has an exciting opportunity as we look at transforming our operational risk management by building solutions that captures risk events in market activities real time. We are looking for an individual that would work both with operational risk and technology to help with the design and delivery of the solutions.

Treasury & Markets (T&M) offers a broad range of treasury products from Fixed Income, Currency, Rates and Credit products in both cash and derivatives. T&M provides total solutions to serve DBS clients' hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. We have a strong record in providing innovative wealth management solutions to our individual investors. We are a leader in SGD and regional products with an excellent, customer-driven research capability and with cutting-edge risk management technology and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Drive solutioning for the automation and digitalisation in Risk Control monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Partner with front office traders/dealers in T&M to drive solutions and improve business procedures/infrastructure
  • Review and work with business & support units to improve processes/systems to support the products/business requirements in sales, trading, new product as well as operational risks areas.
  • Support traders, sales and structurers and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve ad-hoc issues
  • Drive implementation or improvement to front office processes to ensure compliance with internal policies & regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • Experience in working with digital solutions or digital platforms is helpful
  • Knowledge and experience in Treasury or Markets is preferable in either of the following areas : Product Control, Middle Office operations , Audit , Compliance or RIsk.
  • Able to think strategically but also execute end-to-end
  • Good command of verbal, written and presentation skills and confident in speaking with front office personnel
  • Personality that reflects enthusiasm, willing to work and collaborate with others, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to be disciplined with planning and delivering deadlines
  • Graduate degree from a recognised University
