Join our Group Financial Planning & Analysis team as an experienced Analyst/Executive and get to work with a small specialist team within the broader Financial Management Group of Macquarie.

This truly exciting opportunity will provide you with the exposure to drive change across our Financial Management Group's forecasting, analysis and reporting processes, gain intensive experience to a wide range of issues affecting a financial institution with a broad business portfolio. Working closely with Macquarie Group's CFO and other Senior Macquarie leaders, this role provides you with the ability to build a strong technical skill set and a strategic, commercially focussed mind set.

Key responsibilities of the team include:
  • Assisting in providing insightful, timely and commercial analysis to senior stakeholders, across both the Macquarie Group and its various components.
  • Communicating to, persuading, and influencing a variety of cross-divisional stakeholders to achieve team objectives.
  • Driving the implementation and utilisation of big data and business analytical software packages to develop and build interactive business intelligence capabilities.
  • Establishing best practice principles and frameworks to embed data and analytical focussed application

You'll be a highly motivated and curious professional who is ready to take on the next challenge in your banking career.

To be successful in this role you will need to bring the following:
  • Postgraduate accounting qualification - Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification essential
  • 2+ years appropriate post qualified experience in commerce or relevant experience in a Big 4 professional services organisation
  • Relevant degree including accounting major but not essential
  • Practical experience utilising large data sets and/or data focussed applications and analytical packages such as Power BI, Alteryx
