About the role
Our Audit team within our finance function is significantly growing as we continue to invest in delivering the best shopping experience for our Customers. Our Audit team is now seeking an Audit Analytics Manager to join the team to lead the Analytics & Insights function across our audit function as well as acting as a conduit to our data analytics team. What you'll be doing:
The 'Audit Analytics Manager' primary objective is to support the delivery of Internal Audit (IA) objectives, which are:
  • Provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve the organisation's operations.
  • Help the organisation accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes.


The above is achieved in this role predominantly through developing, maintaining and managing the delivery of the Rolling Audit Plan. In this role, the position will report to the Senior Audit Manager - Store Operations.

You'll also:
In supporting the Senior Audit Manager - Store Operations, this role requires the following:
  • Key member of the Audit Function: As a key member of the Audit function, you will work with a team of professionals and develop a collaborative and business-partnering focused culture.
  • Independence and objectivity: You will be charged with ensuring that the internal audit activity remains free from interference by any element in the organisation, including matters of audit selection, scope, procedures, frequency, timing or report content to permit maintenance of necessary independence and objectivity
  • Promoting quality risk management across the Group: As Endeavour Group continues to grow and evolve, the adoption of risk management practices through the appropriate risk framework to manage a wide range of risks, is critical. You will be responsible for partnering with the business and Risk management teams to lead this work.


Good things you'll need:
  • Previous analytical manager role;
  • Understands various database and data analysis & reporting tools such as Teammate, SAP, Oracle, SQL, VBA, Tableau;
  • Able to develop and maintain data analytic platforms to support audit functions;
  • Understands the key drivers of data inputs and outputs and is able to relate data to a process and possible drivers;
  • Critical analysis of national data to proactively suggest improvements for the business;
  • Strong attention to detail and quality outputs;
  • Ability to communicate analysis of data in a meaningful way to diverse audiences to achieve results and action, both in a written and verbal context;
  • Proactive in analysing data to determine recommendation;
  • Able to work with minimal direction;
  • Able to build relationship with business teams in order to understand the client and produce relevant data to improve the business unit;
  • Advanced experience in office applications, including Google (Docs, Slides & Sheets) and Microsoft (Word, Powerpoint, Excel);
  • Previous experience in data mining using databases for large data sets;
  • Experience in automating manual data processes using technology; and
  • Experience in using ERP technology such as SAP
