Join our Capital Change Team within the Group Treasury Function as a Business Analyst and support critical changes being made to capital processes within the Capital End-to-End Program.

In this position, you will join a highly visible and business-critical project, crucial to maintaining Macquarie's strong and conservative balance sheet. This program is tasked with delivering the changes to the regulatory reporting process to comply with APRA's Unquestionably Strong Framework (Basel III).

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and other team members to capture business requirements which will inform the design and delivery of new tools and capabilities to a transformed business. This role is an exciting and rare opportunity to develop breadth and depth of expertise, demonstrate measurable value and apply the latest technology and new ways of working to enhance your skill set.

To be successful in this role, skills and experience will include:
  • 2-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst at a comparable organization/sector
  • Prior experience in Capital (Basel III) or an in-depth understanding of aligned functions such as Regulatory Reporting
  • Collaborative mindset, a "can do" attitude and proactive approach to delivery
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to think critically when facing complex problems
  • Relevant degree qualifications in areas such as finance, mathematics or engineering
  • Demonstrated an ability to work on own initiative driving requirements to completion

Joining a purpose driven team, it is desirable to have working knowledge of regulatory capital concepts and standards, and familiarity with financial services business and products. However, exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively are essential. You are ambitious, hardworking, team-focused individual with financial and analytical experience.
