A Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director specialising in IT Audit is responsible for translating audit requirements in work plans and directing a team to perform and document IT Audit procedures in accordance with applicable audit standards.
Your Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to:
- Manage a team of KPMG professionals and plan the execution of a portfolio of IT audit, risk and assurance engagements
- Operate under the instructions of an Audit Partner to deliver all stages of an IT External Audit
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle while providing performance management for IT audit, risk and assurance staff working on assigned engagements
- Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management
How are you Extraordinary?
As the successful candidate you will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in internal and / or external IT audit, with additional experience in IT risk management, attestation, project assurance or advisory preferred
- A tertiary qualification (preferably information systems and commerce or related)
- Post graduate qualifications such as CISA/CIA/CRISC, CA/CPA or a Masters degree in an appropriate field
- Demonstrated supervisory and team management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Detailed understanding of the IT Audit process for External Audit, the internal processes required to effectively lead IT Audit engagements and the required risk management of the audit process. Ability to effectively interact to with senior stakeholders through the audit lifecycle.
- High level of personal integrity with strong professional acumen and ability to lead/direct a team.
