Duties:
- Tax consulting and advice for the portfolio - Tax Consolidations, CGT and Small Business Concessions, Division 7A, Utilisation of losses, Family Trust Elections, international tax matters and business restructures
- Advising clients on tax risk management, ATO disputes, and preparation of reports
- Undertaking tax reviews of client prepared files and reviewing junior accountants work
- Managing income tax return preparation for large and SME groups including Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Business Owners
- Client relationship management and assisting with compliance, tax planning and structuring advice
- Working with clients to manage business acquisition and sale processes
- Degree qualified (Accounting, Commerce or Business)
- CPA or CA qualified
- Experience with taxation structures, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions & superannuation
- Previous accounting experience within a public practice
- Advanced Xero, MYOB and Excel skills
