Financial Accountant

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Finance team. The individual will be part of a small close knit team who have been hugely successful in transforming the Grant Thornton finance function. The role is broad and will allow the individual get excellent experience in a wide variety of areas across the finance function including reconciliations, consolidations, multi-currency and multi jurisdiction reporting. The role will suit someone with strong analytical skills, advanced excel skills and a keen interest in data analytics tools. 

The individual will be based in our Dublin office in City Quay but will provide support to the Partners and management across our 7 offices.

Key roles include:

• Preparation of monthly service line reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Preparation of management accounts
• Reconciliation of control accounts
• Preparation of Vat / VIES returns
• Preparation of client, service line and office profitability
• Assisting in the budgeting process
• Preparation of adhoc reports and analytics
• Participating in team collaboration and finance transformation activities

Key skills:

• Newly qualified accountant ACA / ACCA/ CIMA / CPA
• Advanced excel and analytical skills
