Internal Auditor

We are looking to hire an Internal Auditor with brilliant accounting and analytical skills. The candidate is expected to be organized with problem-solving skills and constantly delivers on tight deadlines. The candidate must have remarkable presentation and report writing skills, display incredible business acumen and be a critical thinker with a keen interest in improving an organization’s internal control structure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with international best practice
• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans Compile and implement the annual Internal Audit plan
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Risk Committees
• Overall supervision of planned annual audits
• Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

Requirements

• Internal Audit Certifications/Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience of Internal Audit practices and methodology
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills
• CISA qualification will be considered as an asset
