As the Finance Manager you will be based at the Head Office in Bristol (with flexibility for homeworking) and will be responsible for coaching and developing a small finance team.
The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the whole organisation through robust and timely financial reporting and ensuring that the finance processes are fit for purpose. Adaptable and efficient, preferably with experience of delivering the wide range of accounting services required by a small business or charity, the ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong Excel skills, a good eye for detail and a focus on business partnering.
This role will be responsible for developing and improving procedures and policies and with the guidance of the Head of Finance & Operations, improving systems and controls surrounding all aspects of the charity's financial management. This post will also assist the Head of Finance & Operations with preparing the annual budget, working with budget holders to develop and review budgets, lead on the preparation of financial reports, assist with the monitoring of financial performance of the organisation and assisting with the management of all accounting procedures and processes used by the organisation.
Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience of managing a small team
Knowledge and experience of financial packages
Experience in preparing monthly and annual accounts
Have excellent business partner skills
c£35k - £40k + benefits
