Group Reporting Manager
An interim role is available with a group of companies in York to carry out the role of Group Reporting Accountant. Offered on a temporary basis, this role will oversee the Management and Statutory Accounts preparation. Supported by the Head of Finance and FD, you will be responsible for month end close, consolidation and the reporting process. As Group Reporting Accountant you will manage a small team and interact with senior management and group levels. Group Reporting Accountant duties include: Production of monthly Management Accounts and commentary Production of monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and forecasts Development of business wide financial controls, risk management and corporate governance procedures Managing the audit relationship and liaising with external advisers on tax and treasury matters Supporting the CFO on key initiatives such as finance restructuring, M&A projects, and systems implementation projects Production of annual Statutory Accounts Ownership of Corporation Tax and VAT returns Providing insights and responses to parent company questions Overseeing group cash-flow, preparation of forecasts Management and development of a small team of Management Accountants As a qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), you will technically strong with the ability to communicate across all levels. Being highly motivated and a pro active self-starter, you will enjoy developing and guiding your team. The role is offered on a temporary basis for 3 months and may extend.
