Consolidation & Group Accountant

One of the most successful and prominent companies in Kent is looking for Group Accountant to come into an exciting role which would be a career defining move. The successful candidate will be a fully-qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) with a strong technical background. The candidate must be able to present financial information clearly, confidently and concisely, and will have an excellent eye for detail. Strong Excel skills are a requirement for the role as is the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks in order to meet challenging deadlines. The successful candidate will form and develop strong relationships both within the business and with external advisors. Key areas of responsibility will include: Assist with the group consolidation package for interim and annual results Assist with the Group bi-annual financial accounts Assist with the production of the Group's UK statutory accounts Assist in the delivery of the Group's Annual Report and Accounts Key point of contact for the external auditors Keeping abreast of IFRS and UK GAAP developments Maintenance of accounting records Collation and presentation of non-financial KPI's This is a great role for an ACA/ ACCA qualified Accountant A good benefits package is only bettered by the career prospects on offer and you will quickly be welcomed into a friendly and driven environment.
