The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will partner with and provide business insight through both financial and non-financial data analytics, to support strategic and operational decision making.
Key deliverables include quarterly forecasting, long term financial projection, product category margin and profitability analysis, pricing analysis, customer segment and profitability analysis and other ad hoc report or analysis that serves various business objectives.
You will actively be involved in driving company performance through data analytics, optimisation of growth levers, and identification of organic and/or non-organic growth opportunities. The successful candidate shall understand the overall company strategies, be guided by strong business acumen and advocate the right business direction as part of the business leadership team.
This role is also expected to play an active role in branding and marketing strategy setting, market segment and Lifetime Value/Customer Acquisition Cost analysis, pricing strategy setting as well as developing and managing the culture of project ROI reviews.

- The primary objective of the role is to support data driven business decisions and drive achievement of financial and business goals.
- The successful candidate is sought to be a trusted business partner that integrate himself/herself deep into the ANZ leadership team.
- Day to day responsibilities include leading and execution of long term planning, budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasting, scenario analysis and regular financial reporting.
- This role supports special business projects and initiatives and may include M&A modelling, diligence and integrations if required
- This role needs to lead and develop a team of Controllership and FP&A professionals with high competencies. He/she is also responsible to advocate financial discipline and ensure relevant control to minimise financial risk.
- Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
- Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Actively contribute in cross-functional teams to support business growth
- Be able to challenge business status quo and think outside the box
- Supervises, nurtures and builds a team of professional and highly competent members. Drives the team towards the same business goals with strong collaboration culture.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience
- Min Degree qualified with extensive FP&A and business partnering experience.
- Think beyond finance, be part of the ANZ leadership team and demonstrate your value in the shoes of general management.
- Strong data analytical skills, consulting mindset and solution driven.
- Established track record of using data to drive or influence business decisions.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to navigate and collaborate across departments effectively.
- Able to build trust with internal business partners and stakeholders.
- Solid B2C industry experience is preferred.
- Good exposure to LTV, CAC and its impact on business strategic will be a plus.
- Authentic people leader and able to lead a small and highly skilled finance professionals.
- Open-minded and motivated to provide value to regional projects and initiatives.
- Exposure to TM1, Cognos, Tableau, Advanced Excel, database management and advanced PowerPoint user preferred. SQL, VBA skills will be a plus.
