Joining the firm as an Agricultural Accounts Manager, based at the firms Exeter offices, you will take responsibility for a rural and agricultural focused portfolio, providing all round accounting services and advice. The role has arisen through a combination of positive growth and planning for the future growth within this specialist sector. Profile

The ideal candidate will be qualified ACA, ACCA, CA, with a mix of either large, national firm, accountancy practice background and regional independent firm background, or regional, independent, accountancy firm background only. You will have either direct, recent and significant expertise in agricultural sector accounting as an Agricultural Accounts Manager, and/or, a small business accounting background and a working knowledge of business and personal tax and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in the agricultural sector. The partners are keen to mould this opportunity around the right individual. Therefore the level of experience of the right individual could range from a recently qualified professional, with up to 2 years or more post qualified experience,through to experienced Managers with 4 - 5 years or more, post qualified experience, seeking the right long term, career move. You will be able to demonstrate both the technical expertise in this field along with the additional competencies they will be looking for in the right individual, client facing, business development ability and aptitude to progress in the firm. You will be searching for a role where you can develop and act as a lead for colleagues and other offices as an agricultural expert in a leading firm of chartered accountants.

Job Offer

£35000 - circa £48,000 plus benefits, negotiable, dependent on level , experience and background.
