Assurance bring this to life by helping clients further enhance financial performance and operations and gain an understanding of the commercial issues facing their business, alongside the delivery of audit services.

The PwC Skills Hub is a critical component of our Assurance Practice - it was designed to create a consistent, standardised way of working, supporting our Audit teams in the execution of specific areas of an audit. The team are made up of both experienced Accounts Officers and 'Auditors', who will interact directly with clients, engagement teams and SDCs to assist in the execution of Audit delivery related tasks.

As a Senior Accounts Officer in our Skills Hub team your impact will be seen by:
  • Providing coaching and training to new team members
  • Providing oversight of work performed and delivered
  • Supporting the team to develop deep insights into the process and business transactions of companies
  • Identify process improvement ideas and help in the implementation to create an efficient, standardised approach
  • Partnering with key business stakeholders to drive and implement PwC strategy and vision
  • Advocate/ Role model PwC values, culture and behaviours
  • Inspire and motivate others through positive leadership
  • Empower the team with the information required to perform their roles
  • Act as an escalation point for the team when they face challenges


About you

You have a background in financial accounting and have a passion for coaching and mentoring junior staff. Looking for a new challenge you will want to increase exposure to managerial and project management skills. You hold an understanding of prioritising a busy workload in order to meet deadlines, leveraging your high attention to detail. You are currently completing or completed CA qualification (preferred).

Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Assurance team solve complex business issues, improve how systems work and provide confidence on the bigger decisions.

You're collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment.
