Job Description & Summary

Join PwC's Risk Assurance team as a contract auditor for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) within our Certification and Compliance team and help organisations strengthen their risk profile. The contract auditor will conduct audits on behalf of PwC.

The Opportunity

At PwC, we help Australian businesses, not-for-profits and governments create value and improve the way they work. From improving healthcare, to creating smarter cities and igniting Australia's start up industry, you'll be helping to build trust in society and solve important problems.

The Certification and Compliance team bring this to life by truly being a partner to clients and helping them build trust with their customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

PwC's Certification and Compliance business requires the services of suitably qualified contract auditors to assist in auditing the National Disability Insurance Scheme ( NDIS). The auditors would have ISO 9001 qualifications and have qualifications relating to the NDIS. PwC is looking for those auditors already approved to audit the NDIS scheme and who have already done the necessary training to be an NDIS auditor. An attractive rate per job will be negotiated prior to engagement

Success does stem from a positive attitude, hard work and going the extra mile, but that's not all!

You will:
  • Higher Education qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing, Social or Health Sciences.
  • Significant auditing experience involving organisations providing services in disability services
  • Be a registered Auditor - Exemplar Global or equivalent (preferred) to ISO 9001
  • Have experience working with client accounts across a wide range of industries
  • Be a self-employed contractor and hold insurances including Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance

About you

The brief is simple...

You have a strong background within NDIS auditing and are able to work individually on audits and as a member of a team. From time to time, as required, act as a team leader and lead an audit to conclusion.

You're passionate about helping organisations grow and improve. You thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture and want to join a firm that values problem solvers, the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and key stakeholders.

Your colleagues can vouch that you:
  • Act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
  • Have the ability to conduct audits on behalf of PwC maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships
  • Have extensive knowledge of the related field (basic technical knowledge, main stakeholders trends/shifts, competitors, processes, regulatory frameworks)
  • Have the ability to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment
  • Can assist the operational team as and when required in relation to booking audits, audit communication, and providing auditor and client feedback
  • Can liaise with the business development team by providing assistance on relevant NDIS technical issues and in securing sales to bring in new certification business
  • Deal with technical queries when raised internally, or by a client
