The Innovation Office is a multi-disciplinary team within Citi Global Wealth's Investments business. An established, high performing and agile team, the Innovation Office is focused on designing, building and implementing a platform of innovative solutions and technologies that improves the quality of the client experience; increases revenues; efficiently manages costs; and builds better products, services, and ways of working - collectively serving to better prepare the bank and its clients for the future.

The Innovation Office is now seeking an individual to contribute towards innovative solution decision-making for the organization and our clients. The position will have a strong impact on driving results, enabling sales and enhancing the bank's revenue generating efforts. The successful candidate will excel in running data analysis and identifying insights to help the business put innovation ideas into action.

This position would suit a proactive, inquisitive and energetic analyst with an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage his/her time around Global Investments business priorities.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • End-to-end involvement in the execution of innovation priorities
  • Create reports, dashboards and new analysis to help the business and management evaluate and take decisions
  • Maintain and develop information & data sets to successfully identify, integrate and execute innovation initiatives
  • Contribute towards the development of innovative solutions, tools and frameworks for Global Investments and beyond via improved technology and data deployment
  • Promote the innovation mindset across the region's businesses, making the organization aware of outside innovations in and beyond the industry - promoting exploration and new thinking
  • Help solve key business challenges by analyzing opportunities in disruptive new technology to grow an innovative culture
  • Design and develop tools & scripts to import, modify and enhance data to identify opportunities that help deepen client relationships
  • Contribute towards the implementation of an integrated, enterprise-class platform approach to provide business-readiness that
    • Is scalable
    • reduces architecture complexity for end users
    • maximizes the organization's adaptiveness to change
    • pays attention to future proofing
    • embeds an integrated data model for business insight extraction
  • Liaise with divisions across Citi Global Wealth to progress business growth goals. Understand business requirements based on value proposition
  • Consistently follow and support regulatory policies


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Innovative problem solver approach: A passionate, get-things-done attitude with a sense of ownership and a team-player approach.
  • Experience in change projects
  • Experience in designing and developing product road map
  • Strong written / verbal communication skills: This role requires stakeholder management, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical partners
  • Highly aware of innovation space and fintech
  • Experience in creating partnerships, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in working in agile teams and applying agile methods and principles
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation - the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and spot different trends
  • Experience in requirement gathering, business case development and end-to-end implementation
  • Experience in project management in digital and technology projects
  • Strong Business English skills required
  • Familiarity with analytical tools and languages - e.g., Python, MatLab, R, Julia, SQL, etc.


Desirable:
  • Strong awareness / early adopter of the newest technologies
  • Knowledge of Financial markets and investment strategies
  • Any additional languages
